The 49th CIS Law of recruiting was discovered by @JHallCanes

If a recruit has a long or complex nickname or has a dollar sign or any other special (non alpha-numeric) character in his nickname, they aren't coming to Miami. Exact nickname length is evaluated on a case by case basis, but anything above six letters is the danger zone. If its above 10 letters, forget it.

Time to put it to the test. At some point, Mario will break this law. IDK when though

Just noticed today that our latest commit has a Canes friendly nickname "ETA". Given that nickname, we should've known he was a Canes lock.

By and large though, all of the current recruits are in compliance with the 49th law and most don't have nickname (that we know about).

Just discovered that Donte' "Tae" Wright has a Canes friendly nickname and the OP is updated. We should've known the flip was inevitable. Doesn't seem to use it much at all, but it was on his original Fawcett UGA commit (prior to flipping)

Could be an anomaly OR it could be that most folk go by his abbreviated nickname "Pancake" which would be ok under the 49th CIS Law of recruiting. We may need to monitor this one more closely to see if Mario has been showly chipping away at this law while we weren't watching closely enough.

Looks like my face hearing another LK amazing story of his greatness here on CIS.

And rarely do the ever come close to living up them. I’m old enough to remember guys like Darius “Superman” Hiley that played at Cleveland in a secondary that featured Ted Ginn, Jr who was a junior, but was the no. 1 CB and national defensive player of the year in his class. Donte Wittner was also in that DB room, but Darius was said to have been the best athlete of them. He and Latwan Anderson are the ultimate what could’ve been kids from the Ville.

Ahmad “Batman” Carroll was another super athlete that didn’t translate to quality play on the field. He was a good SEC player, drafted in the first round, so he wasn’t a bum, far from it, but he **** sure wasn’t a superhero.

The only superhero movie I ever saw that impressed me was Dic.kman and Throbbin, starring John Holmes and a young Tom Byron. I think Big Zesty may have been recruited to aTm via promises of an opportunity to be a fluffer in Dic.kman and Throbbin 2, but that could just be rumors from Pete Nokas at the No3 site.
