Thank You Dr. Frenk

I'm glad Frenk woke up. Hopefully he can now let Rad and Mario take care of athletics and continue to get them the resources they need while his senior leaders just keep an eye to make sure things are trending in the right direction..I don't mind Frenk being "hands off" athletics but he can't ignore it to the point of negligence (which is what he did to allow things to get the way they were with corruption/power grabbing).

Joey Jim Echevarria from my distant perch does seem to be one of the cleaner handed "heroes" in this process. He clearly was not an obstructionist at all from the UHealth front and he didn't have the ridiculous history of advocating for Manny and Blake that Rudy Fernandez had to run away from.

That's the rub. When you are interesting, the trolls come out to sully and spoil the fun. How many FSU/UNC/VTech/UF fans make up the "Guests Online" do you figure?

I would love to know the CiS site statistics on traffic over the last two weeks. I imagine we've seen an uptick in footprints and we have everyone panicking as a reason why.

Thanks Dr F for being vain and embarrassed enough to let Herbie get under your skin and force you into doing something while other institutions and the fan base laughed at you for being called out. You should do what you allowed CMR to do; put some of your own **** money up because of where and how you've led this university.

Say what you will about Shalala, but she had this school move up to a top 50 school academically. Since then, it has been a slow decline. Hopefully Frenk can turn it around.

As an alum, having a sister that’s a law school alum, cousins on my wife’s side that are alums, and a son set to graduate in the spring, couldn’t agree with you more.
 
Did I read someone disrespecting the Old Skewl Douche that was U Prez Thaddeus Foote? 5 rings and he fought football all the way - honestly believe it was part of the drive coaches had to achieve against all odds.
PS- did throw some huge parties on the old cutler spread in the ‘80’s…

i applaud what he's done for football, but if you care at all about the academic side of the university then frenk is an abject failure. that said, he's the best president for athletics that we've had in a very long time because he finally seems to understand how important football is to the school and is willing to act on it.

discount what he did all you want - nobody forced him to spend 8 million on a coach. they might build a statue for this man if we win another ship.
