YesGil quit on the team?lol
you don't take over at a new school and kick out a thad franklin without playing the season out
yeah in a perfect world we would have gotten a whole new roster before the season started but that's not how this **** works. he specifically said it was a fresh slate for the players and franklin lost a bit of weight and gave it effort in the offseason, him quitting today is 8 months later
This makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thad was a drama queen during recruiting. Not much has changed. I would’ve been able to stomach it if he actually played with some effort. Kid is 240 and runs like he’s 140.
He does runs like he is 240. He looks like a high school TE running the ball. Slow, no vision or conditioning will get you 3 yards a carry at this level. He needed to go. Dude should have been 220 with burst and a one cut attitude. I am sure it was coached, he just couldn't figure it out. He can go play at a G5 school. I don't see him doing anything there either unless he gets in shape and commits himself to being a D1 running back. This makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I could deal with the “they’re kids” argument before (it’s bull**** but whatever), but now if you’re getting paid **** that. Wanna get paid like a man then act like one, you think this attitude won’t continue when they get into the real world?
He always made me think of Sammie Smith.
And now this...
We/I are making assumptions about him walking out of practice for something related to football.
Is everybody sure that this is 100% football related?
I will. I will always wish young black men the best in whatever they endeavor in life. I see them as more than just bodies for entertainment. What are you gonna do about it?One fat soft *** runner. I really hope no one here wishes him well.
Even the lazy ones who quit mid practice?I will. I will always wish young black men the best in whatever they endeavor in life. I see them as more than just bodies for entertainment. What are you gonna do about it?
Yep, especially these ones.Even the lazy ones who quit mid practice?
whatever happened between him and the coaches that led to him walking off I hope he learns from it and does what he feels is best for him and finds a place where he can be successful. I've walked off jobs before out of frustration. Football fans act as if players owe them and the team their undying allegiance.Even the lazy ones who quit mid practice?
They don’t owe fans anything but when they go to school for free and get paid now then fans expect these players to not be entitled lazy pieces of **** who need to grow the **** up.whatever happened between him and the coaches that led to him walking off I hope he learns from it and does what he feels is best for him and finds a place where he can be successful. By that logic every player who has ever transferred was a lazy, entitled piece of sh*t who was scared of competition and needs to grow up. Fans love players who transfer to their program but will incessantly knock ones who leave. Make it make sense. Maybe he and Mario didn't jive and that's ok, not everyone is/will be a fit in this scheme/style of play. ****, he may or may not even leave the team but folks are ready to run him off. Fans needs to get out of their feelings. I hope he does what he feels is best for him and maximizes his opportunities elsewhere should he choose to go that route. They don’t owe fans anything but when they go to school for free and get paid now then fans expect these players to not be entitled lazy pieces of **** who need to grow the **** up.
