Got a lot of Mario criticisms but I like what we are doing at QB. Good high school QBs that don’t break the bank or play games, and then go all in on the portal if necessary

With portal and players not having to sit out a year, I been saying it for years now, if you can show proof of concept and become desitnation school for experienced QBs.. I never want to see high school qb again...

First of all since turn of century we have MANY years of high school recruiting and they all MID AT BEST, mostly trash in national CFB landscape

You have to have growing pains, like we watching now.

You never know what you are getting until its live in games and then see if they are real deal AFTER growing pains (Which we havent been able to do in 20+ years!) We never get passed this stage.

Then you get 1 or 2 actual potential seasons..

With Portal QB, they get growing pains somewhere else. They grow in leadership, somewhere else. They get experience and you see REAL film against CFB athletes, not some grainy high school high lights. You cut the check and get the best of best and you are good to go.. I dont know why people even still ask for Emory and how he looking, we saw how he looked against Iowa St. GTFO..
