I realized that recently when looking at the box scores of early 2000 games vs games today... the score would be similar but the yards were generally so much more now.
 
I thought OU looked a bit unimpressive earlier in the season, but have to admit they are looking pretty decent today

Under center HB Dive 3 times in a row to the exact same side right into the teeth of the Defense.

Then on 4th down throws a parallel screen behind the line of scrimmage.

Got down inside the 5yd line & didn’t even call one throw into the End zone.

That’s why I hate that philosophy of Offense.
 
Where is Thomas M ? He thinks Oklahoma doesn't deserve its ranking. So I guess they shouldn't be in the top 20? lol Oklahoma as much as I despise them looks **** good to say the least.

The thing that’s crazy is the defense pretty much has to guess right to stop a team from a yard out four times . They have to play down hill so you know where they’re guessing lol. Any kind of pa early would’ve been a td. Conservative coaching will always bite you

I think we'd beat both of them. So yes, they are both ranked ahead of us, so they are over rated.

Like you said, a simple PA RPO with a TE running an Out route to the back of the Ed zone after an engage block would’ve been an easy TD.

Or throw a quick slant; or a rub route fade to the pylon, or even if you feel you must run the ball, run a misdirection with the Left Guard pulling, or run a QB option out of the gun... Literally dozens of play calls could’ve got a score in that situation.

But running the exact same play 3 times in a row is just plain stupid smh
