Just wanted to add some thing to discuss....

There are 2 throws made by Shane Buechele that caught my eye in this highlight of Texas's last game against UTEP, bc it stood out to me that those types of throws are what I haven't seen on a consistent basis from Brad Kaaya from last year, and obviously still pouring into this year.

The 1st throw @ the :30 mark - touch deep pass to the outside, allowing the WR to "out talent" the defender, and make a play in the end zone. That throw takes confidence in himself as the QB and confidence in the WR as well. Very impressive throw and catch over the defender.

The 2nd throw @ the 1:46 mark - It was an effortless almost 50 yard pass to the WR for a TD. What stood out to me was how he threw the WR open and allowed the WR to catch and run for a TD. The WR didn't have to slow down and worry about getting caught from behind by the defender.

Those two types of passes are what I feel are missing from Brad Kaaya's game that I think would make our offense unstoppable if they could fix as the season progresses....

Brad Kaaya has made alot of throws since he was a freshman. Relax, he has been off, he will get better

I wasn't talking about his freshman year. He made a lot of impressive throws then, but last year I saw a lot of the same sort of inconsistencies that I'm still seeing at the start of this season. He just seems out of sync when it comes to making those types of throws right now.

Gransapo: I wasn't talking about his freshman year, he was more confident in his throws back then. The two plays you post from last year against FSU, were impressive throws in the same game. I just believe that he was inconsistent which has continued into this season. Last year he didn't throw a lot of picks but he didn't throw a lot of TDs either just seemed has been out of sync since then.

Any mediocrity out of Kaaya early this year is just Rick's genius at work you fools. A) He's purposely masking any passing game prowess to surprise FSU and B) He's suppressing Kaaya's stats early so as he drops from a high first rounder in these draft projections and decides to come back next year. Rick is thinkin' big picture while you dopes are comparing the next Dan Marino to Steve Buechele Jr and are worried about the Mountainqueers next week. We so back that y'all can't even comprehend it yet. Ask Njoku. He's clearly in on the plan.

I said since his Fr year. He lit up FSU which has been one of best secondaries 2 years in a row. I expect him to improve.
