Texas QB Shane Buechele v UTEP / QB comparison to Brad Kaaya

this kid already beat a top 10 team. Kaaya has to step up this year. I wont overreact to the FAU game tho. horrible protection

Looking at those videos... I don't think we've had Brad drop back as far as he was in some of those plays. He's been in a lot of quick 3 step drops then the ball is out or he goes through the progression without finding anyone.

Imo.. I don't think he sees the field as good dropping back from under center (obviously, a lot of QBs don't)

I'm not sure we've had the OL good enough after his freshman year to support 5 step drops.

He'll be fine though. He's too talented not to find success

Brad Kaaya has made alot of throws since he was a freshman. Relax, he has been off, he will get better

I wasn't talking about his freshman year. He made a lot of impressive throws then, but last year I saw a lot of the same sort of inconsistencies that I'm still seeing at the start of this season. He just seems out of sync when it comes to making those types of throws right now.
I said since his Fr year. He lit up FSU which has been one of best secondaries 2 years in a row. I expect him to improve.

Well I can still make the same point using Brad Kaaya instead. pointing out those throws he made against FSU, he hasn't made the same caliber of throws consistently since. My overall point isn't saying he's not capable, but that he has been sort of inconsistent since last year.

lol sheesh didn't know the QB position was off limits for constructive criticism and debate
It's off limits after 1 bad game. We could be LSU. Even Clemson is struggling but like I said I expect him to improve.

He didn't do it by himself...

Swoopes deserves just as much credit if not more, than Shane does.

Not to mention, they were running simple one read 9 routes all game, not saying he wasn't good, but it's not like he's doing advanced calculus out there.

Any mediocrity out of Kaaya early this year is just Rick's genius at work you fools. A) He's purposely masking any passing game prowess to surprise FSU and B) He's suppressing Kaaya's stats early so as he drops from a high first rounder in these draft projections and decides to come back next year. Rick is thinkin' big picture while you dopes are comparing the next Dan Marino to Steve Buechele Jr and are worried about the Mountainqueers next week. We so back that y'all can't even comprehend it yet. Ask Njoku. He's clearly in on the plan.

Thank God for Rick.

Rick really needs to light a fire under Molten
