They seem to have big issues over there.

Charlie Strongs first loss. 41-7 to BYU.

I live in Texas. A lot of Longhorn fans want Strong fired already.

didnt byu destroy them last year also, they may have some depth issues strong is suspending or kicking some one off the team every time i turn on espn
 
They're down like 4 starting OL also from suspensions/injuries, and they were very thin there to begin with, plus playing their backup QB who was like Torrance Gibson over here in that no one thought he was a real QB out of HS (besides Mack Brown who was perpetually trying to find Vince Young II).

Their offense looks about like we would if we lost Flowers and Feliciano and were playing Trayone Gray at QB.
 
Strong has only done really well with an elite QB, which he is void of now. If he losses five game this year it gonna get ugly.

Yeah they lost by like 21 or something to BYU last year too.

Good i heard we might be looking for a new coach. Strong would be a stud coaching at Miami
 
Would take him here. Was wishing with all the crazy **** around Al and PSU that he would have gotten that job and then Strong come here.
 
Live in Austin and he isn't getting fired. Most people here really like him and know that Mack ran a country club like Coker. Charlie will get it fixed soon

they want him fired because he is black. lol shorter leash. he inherited a mess. he needs time. Jury is out. if we didnt have turmoil with Randy leaving and ncaa, he probably doesnt get top florida kids so now is his time to prove what he can do.

So many people who don't live in Texas keep saying that Texans hate ol' black Charlie Strong but every Texas fan I know loves him. Weird. I guess OP and I run in different circles.

one person says they don't like him translates to everybody doesn't like him...
 
He'll fix Texas if he gets a QB. If he doesn't, he'll fail. That's how it works.
 
I can see the vocal minority that is comprised mostly of racists in Texas calling for his head...

But he's a **** of a coach. I'd cut off an appendage to have him here.

Was at a BBQ place in Austin last night as my inlaws are in town. Fans were cheering and really into the game and were loud about making comments how they love certain improvements that they have seen. Had 3 separate people come up to me flashing the U (I was wearing Canes gear) and tell me that Charlie is coming and cleaning the mess up or something in that nature.....

The final score was ugly but they played well the first half. That often happens in rebuilding jobs. Alabama was pretty pedestrian Sabans first year. It takes a little while to change the culture.
