Oh no doubt, but they r also exceptionally young. They have a great coach, and it was a helluva comeback in the 2nd half….but like w/ most young teams, punching them in the mouth can usually shake them up. They’ve been shaken twice…one time they escaped, this time they didn’t.
I knew Bama was vulnerable from the get-go. It’s really, really hard replace that much production (ask Clemson). All I wanted us to be was competitive, and how we played put a pit in my stomach that it was going to be a long season. No way should a vet team get that out classed by youngsters like we did, not w/ our recruiting.
