That backup QB is how they lost both games and almost lost to Colorado. Idk what Jimbo did to him this week, but he went from a deer in headlights to throwing darts all over the field. Not to mention coming back from falling apart all through the 3rd and half of the fourth. He showed up when it mattered most, late.

What do y’all expect from coaches? He’s playing with a backup who until tonight, looked like he didn’t deserve a D1 Scholarship. He won with Kellen Mond last year. He was terrible. Not many guys could do that. Jimbo isn’t Saban but he’s a top 10-15 coach. What he did tonight was an all time win for that program.

People seem to expect everyone to be Saban. Jimbo has a really good program and understands the importance of recruiting. If he hits on a QB in recruiting they'll be in the playoff.
 
And down goes Bama. Nick had some angst with them hands in ye armpits.

Opens up for and interesting college football season. Ohio State L. Clemson L. Alabama L.

Hmm.

Sac State is 2-0 in conference. Stingers up you Cane's.

Listening to Misfits on my balcony from Aftershock Sacramento. Deal with it.

We're not used to it but I think the concept is called "coaching" and "developing players"

I'll tell you what though, Williams shushing the crowd when down by 7 in the 3Q made my blood boil. They're ****y *****. Delighted they lost. Down goes Bama!

Oh no doubt, but they r also exceptionally young. They have a great coach, and it was a helluva comeback in the 2nd half….but like w/ most young teams, punching them in the mouth can usually shake them up. They’ve been shaken twice…one time they escaped, this time they didn’t.

I knew Bama was vulnerable from the get-go. It’s really, really hard replace that much production (ask Clemson). All I wanted us to be was competitive, and how we played put a pit in my stomach that it was going to be a long season. No way should a vet team get that out classed by youngsters like we did, not w/ our recruiting.

the Aggies did not win that game .... Bama clearly lost it by poor coaching and **** poor effort.. there will be some serious smoke rising in Tuscaloosa this week, asses will be lit up --- coaches and players.
 
Bama can lose 2 more and probably still get into the playoff. We are going to hear all week about the eye test. Winning every game matters until the team that's supposed to win every game doesn't. Then the excuses start so they get into the playoff. We've seen it before.
