Keys to the game:

1. Our DL versus their OL; holy **** their pass protection is good. This is good on good and the game is gonna come down to who wins this battle.

2. Running game: their rushing defense is NOT good. They get gashed multiple times a game. They are nationally ranked 67 in yards per attempt (4.3), and 42 in yards per game (137), which is not horrendous, but when you take a closer look at the teams they've played against barely any were good rushing teams. Norte Dame (close game), Arkansas (close game), and Missouri we're the best rushing teams they've faced. Of note Howell is good, but looks like teams target him in the running game - he rushes up the field too often.

3. Turnovers; overall their defense is solid but they give up the big play - especially the wheel routes. Protect the ball, gash them in the running game, and wait for them to make the mistake on defense.

Gonna be a good game, but we'll have a solid chance

I like the match up, but don't like Mario's track record out of bye weeks. Though, I think maybe there's a different buzz around the program right now, so hopefully we capitalize.
What's his track record? I feel like this is one of the biggest Mario myths - he has been fine coming out of byes. He was 7-0 at Oregon, lost to UNC in 2022 (first year, we sucked), lost to GT in 2023 (fumble/kneelgate...), beat Louisville and Wake Forest in 2024, and beat FSU/lost to Louisville this year.

10-3 overall. With 2 of those losses being because 1) he didn't kneel the ball, and 2) Carson threw 4 picks (with UL players making the best plays of their lives).

When do we find out if it's a B10 or B12 officiating crew?

Or even worse...an ACC officiating crew!

Scared Horror GIF

A&M defense has 3 interceptions all year and 2 of those are by linebackers. 1 by a safety.

I've never seen anything like that. That's such a low number, especially for a team with such a high sack %

Assuming it holds true and nothing crazy happens, we should feel pretty strongly about avoiding a disaster like the Louisville game
Great stat. Their defense is contingent on TFLs (they rank #3 overall in TFL). We are #5 in TFL allowed. Great matchup

Two backups and a JAG of a WR… makes you laugh

Should be happy we made the money especially Young ole boy was at a **** community college lol
I couldn't even recognize these nobody's...seriously... I think that's Harris in the middle? Absolutely, three forgettable JAGS.

I assume they actually pay Georgia NIL money just to be there...

I know A&M is very good, but at least Brohm isn't walking into College Station. That dude is like Miami Kryptonite.

Texas A&M is a tough matchup. Jennings hurt us more than any other quarterback, and Reed is a more athletic version. He can outrun our ends. They are good up front and have the most explosive wide receiver group we've seen this year.

Glad Hetherman has two weeks to work.
this is a very sober picture that should be front and center for all of us.

anyone who thinks this game is a cakewalk, even though A&M barely beat some very bad teams, is full of ****e.
