I associate that with Shoney's. We had one in Jupiter about 35 years ago. I saw a guy fill his plate as high as it could possibly go like he was allowed only one trip to the buffet. No, his fat *** just didn't want to make more than 5 trips per visit.Shame they don't have the ole Golden Corral nearby. I ate at the one on Atlantic in Pompano once. I felt so bad for the chairs that some of these oinkers were sitting on that I almost reported the restaurant for chair abuse. One heifer in particular I was eyeing closely because I swear one more chicken wing and those legs were gonna give out.

Heupel has aged worse than anyone in such a short span
I don’t think that brother eats mustardNo mustard in stores, Huepel ate it all
Hold up…. You have a Shoney’s?Whenever I'm feeling big and fat and need some motivation to burn calories, a walk past one of those slop-served-here buffets is an excellent motivator to get up on the treadmill. Shoney's, Golden Corral, Ponderosa, **** even Sweet Tomatoes (oh but it's salad!!....no bicch, it's all the other sh.!t that you stack up on it and all that ice cream - with sprinkles). The establishment doesn't matter. It's slops meant for piggies. Oink oink!
I do not. I don't believe there are any on the West Coast. Not looking to find one either. Last thing on Earth I need is to enter a place that serves high-calories slops. I never understood why they're called BUFFets. They should be called OBESEts or something like that.Hold up…. You have a Shoney’s?
Old time Jupiter guy here as well. Didn't that become Duffy's west? Did you go to Jupiter High?I associate that with Shoney's. We had one in Jupiter about 35 years ago. I know for certain that they buy a LOT of rejected items....items rejected for temps not low enough, damage, etc. Not disputing a word you said, just adding to it that these places are already starting out with a crappy sub-par product before it sits under a heat lamp for hours (or days/weeks). You know, the sort of schidt that would cause a one-time college QB to grow several chins on the same face simultaneously; just to keep this on topic with the thread.Buffets are ******* nauseating. Complete strangers with God knows what diseases, breathing all over open food trays, handling them, and then the food probably sits there for hours while the bacteria count exponentially increases in these room temperature Petri dishes and E. coli farms.

Yes, it started as Gleason's Steakhouse, became Shoney's, the Duffy's. Yup, I was a victim of JHS way back when Picklesimer was a dean.Old time Jupiter guy here as well. Didn't that become Duffy's west? Did you go to Jupiter High?
the Pizza Hut lunch buffet was the goat thoughThanks for that. I have no idea how they do these buffets or the logistics behind the operation, I just know that the food under those lamps looks disgusting
Eats sticky creamI don’t think that brother eats mustard
