Tengwell dropped

Of course those guys playing RG were scared. With all due respect, what were these dudes going to do? At least Ty Wise had the Goldberg barbed wire tattoo and looked somewhat intimidating. These kids look soft as ****.

That switch was flipped in Wake game.. Defense was on the field whole 2nd half.. Hetherman turned it up a couple notches and the defense bailed us out of a deeeeeeeeeeeeep hole..
I agree the switch started getting flipped in the Wake game. There were flashes, and Hetherman turned it up when we needed it. That defense was on the field the entire second half and still bailed us out of a deep hole. But Clemson was the first time the DL really took over a game. Wake showed the potential. Clemson showed what this group can look like when it's clicking. The sacks and TFLs were piling up, and they were living in the backfield all night. And that's with the refs completely whiffing on some calls and us missing some sacks that were there to be made. This could've been even uglier for Clemson's OL.

That's what I meant by “came online.” Not that nothing happened against Wake, but Clemson was the first time we saw this unit play at that level for four quarters. If we keep getting that kind of production from the DL and continue building the depth, there are going to be some OLs having a very long night against this group.

Grant Wise, woof. Shouldve chose the Canes.
Someone finally mentioned this. A legacy who the Canes recruited and he chose Clemson. And then was run over repeatedly by D-ends and tackles and was finally benched. He never should have been playing as a true freshman. That tells you the state of the Clemson program.

I wonder how his dad feels now about the decision.

Crazy waves. I think Pickett starts at Edge for any other school in the conference or at least gets starter like snaps. All he does is get pressures.
He’ll play a lot after Lightfoot leaves. He’ll fill his spot perfectly.

There’s always the option to make the right choice after this season
