Temple Update: (from the fella setting this up)

Yes, I know, it’s gonna rain. It is forcast alot of rain and wind as a tropical storm. Will have an official post regarding the Temple tailgate tomorrow morning. Working thru some other potential options. Stay tuned

It's 2023 and the progession of meteorological "science" is only behind the lack of advancement in colonoscopy procedure techniques as the biggest failures of modern man.

It'll probably be sunny with the closest weather "event" being a sprinkle with winds gusting to 18mph on the Rhode Island coast.

It will be very wet and very windy in Philly on Saturday.

Hey Chris - thanks again for doing all of this. Any updates on if the plan is still to tailgate in the lot? Fine by me either way.

Temple Tailgate Update - Thursday 4pm

Sadly, the plug has been pulled on the catered tailgate. Cavs catering felt the forecasted 40-50MPH winds and driving rains were a safety risk for his men and for us ( I agree) so they terminated the contract.

For those that paid chris for the food, your funds will be sent back to you tomorrow the same way you paid. Paypal or Venmo to keep an eye out.

Now, for the new plan

The K lot at Lincoln Financial Field has large Solar Panel Canopies that are good to keep dry with normal rain. Heavy rain and wind will still be an issue here tho. The K lot opens at 10:30

However We can set up and zip tie some tents together under the solar canopy. Might help….

If the rain is indeed too much, we could always head indoors to Xfinity Live and keep dry until kickoff.

I say we play it by ear on Saturday morning.
The original lot will still be open at 6. If it’s not bad, head there, if it is, hit up the K lot or Xfinity

Who would have thought that 3 games in Miami and 1 away one in Philly in September and it is the away one that gets the tropical storm conditions.

Sadly I had a work emergency come up and can't make it to the game now so I have a free ticket if anyone wants it, just DM me.
