So are we now officially the only team in D1 football who doesn't have one?

we're not even the only team in our own conference without an on campus stadium.
nc state, pitt, usf, ucla, umass, hawaii, and unlv off the top of my head. there's more than that too.
USC and UCLA among others

NC state is considered to be on campus.

for all intents and purposes, it isn't though. carter-finley is 3 miles from campus and the plot it sits on is owned by the university. that's the only reason it's considered on campus. that would be like saying tropical park is on campus at um if we had a stadium there.

Ever been to a USC game? That stadium is literally across the street from the school, like literally, and they run all operations.

Yeah I have, and you're right it's essentially an on-campus stadium. UCLA is a much more similar situation to ours.
Many here act as if they live on campus. There are so few students that actually go to games, that the importance of an on campus would have zero impact, other than the traffic around Coral Gables. Actually a stadium that far south. would probably hurt attendance from anywhere north od Dade and Broward.
North Philly is rough. Would be interested to see how that turns out

Absolutely agree here...the student body of Miami is not your target audience...not for this school.

That's retarded. This is how you build a fan base, by getting the student body involved. Otherwise we rely on the fans of Miami who never fill Marlins Park, who never filled Sun Life when they were in the World Series (!), who never filled American Airlines during the regular season with Bosh, Wade, and James. The student body more than any other group should be the main goal.
