Tee Martin

Not ones getting good results. Those get promotions and raises.

Bro, eventually 90% of coaches get relieved of their duties. Another 5% see the "writing on the wall" and resign. Another 3% are snakes (like what Saban did to Dolphins and Petrino at Falcons), only 2% of coaches go out on their own terms.

I believe he's retweeting because he's a colleague and probably he doesn't really know anything at this time. I can't believe it's taking this long and today is the first day recruiting opens back up. Manny at this time hasn't met his own deadline so it better be someone good he hires.
The recruiting period opens at midnight tonight

Hes had a few good offenses. He can obviously recruit. His offense is nothing like Manny has talked about bring to Miami.

Exactly. And that's what those who just keep pointing out stats, both good and bad, are completely missing.

Martin's offense doesn't mentally stress a defense, feature innovative concepts, or rely on exploiting weaknesses. It's a "line up and have our guy beat your guy" offense. Sound familiar?

Agreed. I'm happy to have him come on staff as a position coach but not OC.

I’m not sure what USC expected out of an offense with a true freshman but I have watched some tape and his offense isn’t bad. It isn’t balls out spread out but it does have motion and a variety of formations.

He ran an offense that would cater to his QB. pro-style QB so he ran a pro-style offense. He is a good offensive mind and an even better recruiter. Imo he's the best candidate for the job.

He isnt a good offensive mind. Nobody is trying to bring him in as a oc.

I agree, its just funny that people think we are some top 10 program that can get any OC they want.
This search should show you that nobody is dying to take over the reigns of a program with an average offensive line, subpar Wr's, a horrible incoming crootin class and Nkosi perry running the show. Beggars cant be choosers. I wanted Fedora and then Applewhite, but if they aint comin Id be fine with Tee Martin,

If they could get Martin and Seider under a good OC, even bring back Hartley as TE's coach, that would be the kind of staff that I'd like to see.

This is just so dumb. The Hurts recruitment could go on for a while. You think we should not reach out at all if we don’t have an OC? **** no. We tell him we’re interested and once we get an OC we will start going through the process.
They ain’t got sht to say to him without an offensive staff. I could see if we had atleast 1 .

USC offensive coordinator Tee Martin however places much, if not most, of the blame on the players not executing. The coaches recruited these wide receivers and are responsible for their development along with Darnold’s development as well. Furthermore, college football players are young, unpolished, and mistake prone. Most players will never make it in the NFL and the few that do usually need quite a while to get prepared to compete in the pros. In other words, if you are going to be a college coach you need to be able to win with mistake prone youth that do not execute at an NFL level. If your game plan requires this from your college players then your game plan is bad. And here we have arrived at the real reason the USC offense has disappointed -- Tee Martin, Clay Helton, and the rest of the offensive coaching staff have failed miserably.

Well he ain't going to be that. If he comes in he will be the OC . He is way too big of a name with too much cache to coach WR at this stage of his career. I honestly I am surprised by this news but in a good way.

no big time programs are going to hire him to run the offense. i could see him in an "OC" role like what thomas brown had here.

I'm riding with @Cribby. What say you my friend?
I think Applewhite is the guy with Fedora having a deadline of a certain time today to change Mannys mind and Tee has been hit up as a potential wr coach/ passing coordinator if Applewhite is the guy. Tee putting himself out there for UM to me meant he was always available for us and Manny is taking it seriously but that's just my guess

Wow, that's pretty damning.
