Couch will be very good, but hes not better than Blades, Bandy, Ivey, probably isn't better than Bethel. That being said, I think he can be better than all of them. He is very sticky in coverage, and has excellent fluidity and speed, just needs to get stronger and show he can be physical.

Dean is making plays in the nfl right now. If he can give us what Dean gave us to end the year last year THAT would be GREAT!

I personally think he has better hips and natural coverage ability than Dean though. The one thing he is doing that i like he is competing. But i expected it early on with him playing at Chaminade. He was going against high level div 1 wideouts in practice.

Antrelle was all everything out of HS..just on that fact alone and you tryna sell him as a underrated out HS makes me question the validity of your statement lol

And then I just skipped over Rumph who was also highly regarded out of HS
 
He's definitely going to struggle early on once pads come on, and the upperclassmen start playing more smashmouth. But the kid has already covered some of the best playing at Chaminade. He's also been a regular on the best 7x7 teams for years. So I'm sure he'll course correct to the physicality and do just fine.

@blackvern gets a lot of flack and you can disagree with him all you want but his last thread is titled perfectly. You know what you're getting yourself into before you click.

Exactly.

Dean was pretty good last year as a #3.

I hope these guys don't blow up Couch to these ridiculous expectations and then ***** and moan when he doesn't meet their crazy expectations. He's a freshman. If he contributes at all in any capacity that is great. Take a breath and chill.
