Agree, i expect to see the team much stronger in the trenches. Time to not be pushed around anymore. Better effort and execution on both sides will be in store.

They won 6 games last year and your calling a 9 win team a disappointment? **** if I see 8 victories I'll be psyched with such a young team.

If the reports are true that conditioning has taken center stage we may be surprised. Back in the days when we held up 4 fingers it was for a reason we were better conditioned then other teams and we owned the 4th quarter.

When I reviewed the games we lost last year, it made me sick.

Time and again, I'd hear Al Pacino talking about inches. I swear, a single yard three times in each of our losses, and we'd have won them.

if we win 9 games I will be celebrating like we won the big one. thats how pathetic this **** has gotten.

If Miami wins 9 games this year they will win the ACC in 2013 and destroy the Gators.

Still think 5 or 6 wins this year - I'm pumped if they win any more than that.

yall frutpops actin like strength and conditioning matter. yall be actin brand new. yall look up sean taylers stats at the combine and get back to me yall skittlebags.

S&C don't matter? What the **** sports did you play in high school man, badmitton? Being able to out work your opponents in the 4th quarter is the most essential thing to a football team in terms of conditioning.Conditioning is why guys like Jerry Rice (who was kinda slow) looked fast on the field, because he simply tired out his opponents. We had a star OT last year who only benched 225 like 13 times!!! Imagine what he could do with lost weight but added strength........some smart dudes on this board, whew!

Hulka was laying on a heavy dose of sarcasm impersonating good ol' Nites, don't get bent over it. You clearly have missed all of Nites' rambling, which you should feel blessed over. We all are quite excited about the strength gains the team has been reporting, I personally can't wait to see it trotted out on the field this year.

8 wins would be a huge step in the right direction. Anything better, I will be ecstatic.

Agree, but I have no expectations with this young roster. Next year. I can say this though, I'll be in the stands ever game either way.

We used to look plain pitiful because of:

Drive killing, dumbass penalties,
Getting blown off the ball,
Running all over the field and not taking care of our assignment,
Unable to get push on offense,
Taking turns putting out 100% effort,
Drive killing, dumbass offsides.
Running out of gas halfway through the third quarter.

Let's see. Golden and crew are reducing offsides and penalties, taking care of assignments, demanding full play all the time, enabled by strength and endurance.

I suppose we'll see the results.
