Well, these examples won't happen, so they are pointless in the first place.But there does become a point where it becomes untenable.
Let's say Brown, TVD, Garcia, and Matocha leave. And Emory Williams decommits as well. Then you're left scrambling to get multiple portal quarterbacks to come in, without anyone to develop behind them.
Ditto running back. Let's say Cheney, Citizen, and Knighton leave. That gives us just Parrish. We'll need to bring in at least four running backs just to get back to depth. Can we do that? Certainly. Will all four be of quality? Unlikely.
Ditto wide receiver. What if the entire group save Ladsen (who can't transfer) portals out. You need at least 8 wide receivers. We have 2 currently committed, so that leaves us with five to go. Can we get five, quality wide receivers in the portal?
The issue we have is that we don't have the competition. Because the 2nd and 3rd stringers aren't pushing for playing time.
