Almost worked, what a great call!
Enos made good adjustments on the last 2 scoring drives. Saw the stop and 10 yard hitches were there with KJ. Went back to the bubbles. He didn't call a great game by any stretch but he showed some signs of life.Riddick was smoking Enos’ play calls all night. That was next level terrible. I think Mike Vrabel did that **** with the Titans last year with the game on the line? People always think they are so smart
A lot of those hitches and bubbles are RPO's and I think he should call them more often but it's usually dictated by the defense/what the QBs seeing. I could see that hitch to Pope a mile away with how they packed the box and played off on that sideEnos made good adjustments on the last 2 scoring drives. He has no faith in the middle of the OL.I don't get what happens to him in 3rd down and short yardage calls but it's crazy how he hasn't figured it out since Arkansas days. He gets too cute or way over crowds the box on short yardage plays where we should be spreading it out as much as possible imo. And honestly think that TE jet sweep was a decent call we always throw that TE in motion so I didn't mind trying to catch them off guard by actually giving it to him I don't think Enos has ever shown that on tape. Plus Brevin ran a lot of RB in highschool and has the quickness and power to make a play there
I meant more those 10 yard stop routes to KJ. I think the problem is u pack it in tight the box gets to be like 9-10 defenders and we don't have a punishing OL so our runs don't work. We should be spreading it out to lessen the box defenders and then there's less opportunities for blown assignmentsHe has no faith in the middle of the OL.
Yea he just doesn't believe in that in short yardage situations.I think the problem is u pack it in tight the box gets to be like 9-10 defenders and we don't have a punishing OL so our runs don't work. Gotcha ya I actually liked our passing game just dropped too many and overthrew some deep balls by a half step that would have been game breakers. Need Enos to call plays like we're down cause that's when I think he's at his best. When we have a lead and don't need points that's when it gets a little screwyI meant more those 10 yard stop routes to KJ. I don't think those were RPOs.
Because I remember way too much, we tried the same thing on a 3rd and 1 vs UNC in 2004 with Kevin Everett and it didn't work then either.Terrible call in that situation and to the short side of the field. I like it in another situation when the field is more spread out though
