I have no idea how instrumental this guy was to our talent identification and acquisition process. But, he definitely knows who we are targeting and back-channeling form the portal and that will help FSU go after those guys.

I don't blame him for leaving, no worries. I wouldn't have gone there because I don't think they are giving them any money to be any competition for anybody with us. That is reading their moves already and my contacts inside there feel the same. No one is giving Norvell money. Edwards is walking into a bad situation because they have no money.

My original response was to the tweet/post that said he came here to be head of recruiting but it never materialized. That seemed strange to me. Maybe I’m crazy.

Some areas have improved especially going more to using Sr film and others are chaotic as ever. I was hoping Edwards would get that part more synced up but Blustein already covered that. As with anything like this there’s multiple reason’s people leave , it’s never just one .

Seems like between Sr tape, local hs and 7v7 coaches and connections, huge recruiting departments and budgets, the portal, NIL, etc etc there’s a certain level of chaos you’d expect. It a Wild West type of situation right now..especially when you throw in the back channel recruiting you need to protect against, while probably doing some of your own! lol

We had the #10 class in the country

If we weren’t in the playoffs people would be blasting Mario for back to back classes that weren’t Top 5 about it not being good enough
