DMoney said that Hetherman was higher on JaKobe Thomas than Haulcy, but didn't want to pass that on at the time because it would seem like copium.

Haulcy had a good szn too..but Thomas has been a manchild god send for us.

Scott was an All-SEC DB as a sophomore at Auburn. He wanted to play cornerback instead of the slot/nickel position and he got hurt and that just didn’t work out. We got him cause his former coach came here. Auburn was not happy he portaled.

Thomas was a major contributor on a top 5 defense last year. Third safety in the rotation. People saw him as just a big hitter type, however, he would have started for Tennessee this season. Don’t know why he portaled, maybe we back channels that one.
Not sure how you see a misfit or leftovers in these guys.

Last year I was hoping we’d hire Tim Banks, Tennessee DC to replace Guidry. he parlayed our interest into a new deal with Tennessee.

Less than a year later, he is fired from Tennessee and just took a job coaching safeties at Auburn.

A safety he ran off at Tennessee played a major part in our defensive turnaround this year. Of course I am talking about Jakobe Thomas.
