I watch a lot of high school football, Kyle, and I specifically watched a ton of Bishop Gorman, not only b/c of Brevin, but b/c being on the West, they televised a lot of their games. Tate reminded me of a middle class man’s Johnny Football. He would have a 3 TD game w like 180 yrds passing and 40 yrds rushing, no TO’s, and was efficient.

Unfortunately, I knew he was doomed for the get-go here when Enos insisted he played under C, couple w playing some out of the SG, even though his skill set matched a spread offense, exclusively, from SG.

So here’s my other (many) gripe w Manny, and the hypocrisy here; they say they want to play the best players (which was a lie...look no further than GR15). The best player was defined, by him and his staff, as the one who works the hardest, showed leadership skills, best practices, etc. It was widely reported that Tate out worked all the QBs, whether that was “Big Cane” drills, staying after practice to work on mechanics, getting in early to work on mechanics, etc.

To a poster’s point, even though he came in w the QB1 hype, he didn’t conduct himself as such, as reported. Dude even sacrificed to be used as a WR (which was just a decoy). Now I’m not saying he would be the next Johnny Football or Doug Flutie, but to just bury him on the depth chart, w no reason due to inconsistent QB play from both JW15 & Perry, is absolutely bush league, imo.

If I were him, I would leave, in all honesty. He gets unnecessary/unwarranted hate, and y? B/c he was hyped, a transfer, and never got a fair shot?

We have no idea what this kid can do when the bullets are flying in a Miami jersey.

It can’t hurt to play him. **** I watched this kid at Gorman all the time when I lived in Vegas.

Can’t think a kid like that just falls off the map....but hey hopefully this spring session we will see him elevate his game and step up more.

even of he never plays a down, i'm glad he's on the team. i'm rooting for the kid.
