For as much as this kid is perceived to be on social media he really has never done or said anything remotely negative about his situation here or created any drama with it. Gotta at least respect that as he's taken nationwide snark and ridicule all year long.
 
In before the haters. I hope he and his family are ok. He’s a good kid and came here with the best of intentions. He worked his *** off over the summer. I have nothing but respect for the kid. I want to see him on the field, in a Canes uniform at QB. I don’t believe in Perry or Williams as leaders. I don’t know if Tate is any better, but beating FIU is a pretty low ceiling.

i do find it odd how this kid went from possible QB1. To logging 15 plus snaps at WR a position he never has played at the beginning of the season, to basically vanishing completely in game plans.

Personally I would like to see him utilized like Hill from the saints. Not as big so can’t do all the blocking but is def a weapon that is underutilized.

Exactly what I said. Personally, I would like to see what he brings to the table. Going undefeated against a Nat’l Schedule is nothing to sniff at. He could’ve been a dude that gave us 180-200 passing and 50-75 on the ground, keeping drives alive and defenses honest. Welp, I hope he truly gets a fair shot next yr, b/c JW15 has shown zero reasons he should be an automatic starter.

I wonder how he'd look at corner. I see no reason to play him over our wrs next year and qb seems out of the picture. Looks like has short arms (?), but he has quick feet and knows the qb reads.

did y’all see one of the reporters on twitter who posted that and then put up a screen shot of his girls insta story next to it? It was a selfie of them somewhere. Wasn’t a fan of what he was implying
