Manny Navarro does a Q&A on his new gig at The Athletic.

Somebody asked why Tate Martell wasn't with the team and Navarro said he had a nervous breakdown over his situation at UM.

Well Fields bolted bc he couldn't beat out Fromm. Burrow was 29-39 in limited garbage time reps but bolted because of Haskins (many felt it wasn't really a fair competition from the start). Tate did nothing different than those 2 when it comes to why he left. The difference?

Oh - and by the way. There's a REAL possibility Burrow is drafted higher than that guy who so easily beat him out at OSU after coaches saw them day in and day out.

I gave Burrow his props by saying he's head and shoulders above TM as a passer. Looks like Fields traded up. TM is looking for his 3rd taker on the low. What's up with the inferences dude? My point is why are posters acting like TM is the second coming of Tom Brady. He is limited in his ability as a passer at this point in his development.

Let me address your last statement about Burrow draft status. If Joe Burrow were at UM instead of LSU he would be a mid to late round pick at best. That's the impact of playing with NFL talent, not taking anything away from JB. Just lets you know it makes a huge difference when you're throwing and handing off to NFL prospects.

Manny would know nervous breakdowns. He has them at even the slightest rumor that they're running low on croquetas at La Carreta.

and besides that i wouldn't believe Navarro if he said the sky is blue. he will need his lips surgically removed from everyone's *** at UM associated in any way with the football program that needs to be fired.

Seriously. The Tathan bashers act like it was US that analyzed his film and offered him and somehow thrust him upon Manny & Enos.

An emu with one arm and two bad ankles plays better than Jarren "Don't Make Me Upset or I'm Goin To Kentuckeeee!" Williams did against FIU in a loss that will stain this program for generations. So the clowns that want to STILL be acting like there's ANY quality in our QB room let alone some substantial difference in skills between any of them must be on some heavy hallucinogenics. We should've seen AT LEAST 3 of our QBs get live game snaps in this travesty of a season.

why have Diaz and **** been so afraid to put Martell in at QB to at least evaluate his performance in a live game situation ? its ridiculous to see people write about how "bad" Martell is .... thats total bull****. watch actual game film when he was at Taint.

I know a woman who said she taught several of them at MNW. She taught ESE (self-contained classroom).

For what it’s worth I ran into his mom at a game this year. Talked for half a minute waiting for a beer and when he announced to come here they were told Graham Harell was going to be the OC/QB coach.
