Tate Martell is the ideal QB2

Rosier had 8 offers; his biggest offer was Ark St besides Miami.

Tate had 24 offers, w the likes of Bama, OSU, & LSU to name a few schools.

grapes & watermelon comparison

Yeah, makes sense. I said that Tate should be at least as productive as Rosier.

I will say tate has basically ironed out ALL of the kinks from when he first got here. Whether it was nerves or as he told me taking his medication, he's definitely alot more fluid with what hes doing and hes not throwing a lame duck ball anymore. Hes actually throwing a **** nice ball. However it's important to notice this is in shorts with no one coming at him... as of now nkosi is far ahead.

My question to dsdd was, meds for what?
Giant red flag here.

Tate leaving OSU had everything to do with the direction in which new head coach Ryan Day was taking the offense. It had little to do with Tate's talent. Last year, Ryan Day's first as playcaller at OSU, they passed on 49.6% of their offensive snaps. The prior three seasons OSU passed on an average of 39% of their offensive snaps. Ryan Day's offense is not well suited to Tate's strengths as a dual threat QB. He wants a pocket passer. Justin Fields made a mistake going to OSU thinking that they would be running Urban's offense. Day is not an Urban disciple. He spent one year at UF as a GA. Then he worked for Addasio for nine years. Ask yourself this. Does Addasio's offense look anything like Urban's offense? I'll help you with that. Anthony Brown has run the ball 96 times in two years as Addasio's starting QB. Tate ran the ball 146 times his senior year at Gorman. In conclusion, you don't know what the f*ck you're talking about. Sit down.

The notion that Ryan Day is a disciple/mentee of Addazio is insane. Ryan Day's mentor is Chip Kelly not Adazzio. Furthermore the only reason he spent time in the NFL is because his mentor hired him for 2 yrs as a QB coach, otherwise he wouldn't have even been in the NFL. Also..that was one of the main reasons why Urban hired Day in the 1st place. Because there is a strong relationship between Meyer's spread offense & Kelly's. So to suggest that Day's Offensive philosophy is somehow diametrically opposed to Meyer's is just utterly ridiculous. Finally..if Tate was such a horrendous fit for a gimmicky Offense like Day's, WTF kind of fit do you think he's going to be for Enos?? Please don't say Enos is going to tailor his Offense for whoever the starter is because that just makes you sound like a moron. The base Offense is going to be 11 personnel shotgun regardless of who the starter is. Furthermore in numerous interviews during the offseason Day has REPEATEDLY said that he is willing to tailor his Offense to the skillset of his QB and that he is not a stagnant coach. Which proves without a doubt that the reason why OSU allowed Tate to transfer was not because of fit. To prove what i'm saying is true read the 1st few paragraphs of this article..

I never suggested half the straw man crap you just posted.

I simply stated that Tate decided to leave because the offense Day/Wilson will run is not what he signed up for.

As you correctly stated, Day is a Chip Kelly guy. Wilson has spent the majority of his career working with someone other than Urban.

I haven't read any camp reports claiming that any of the QBs are leading so far but there does sound like some guys are outperforming others.

Jarren running 20 MPH and dropping dimes. He has been the most consistent QB throughout these first five days. Would love to have him on my team.

N'Kosi seems to be performing well, growing into a P5 QB. Looking good overall. He did get muscled in the Big Cane Drill by Tate Martell. Other than that, seems to have good command of what Coach Enos is asking, limiting mistakes, and being consistent.

Tate Martell is doing okay as well. Derrick Smith seems to have a vendetta against him but it sounds like if its not on the money, Smith might pick it off. Beyond that, he was absolutely Dominant in a Big Cane Drill rep over fellow QB combatant N'Kosi Perry. His passing has been uneven but he's still competing.

We are repeating the same pablum day after day.
Why are we so hung up on selecting the QB now, when it is so early, and gives us no advantage?.
To have posters hang on every throw, ( by each QB, ) is an exercise in futility, and wastes energy and time, in a useless endeavor.
There are no winners and losers now, just three guys working their asses off and trying to win a job.
Let them work and compete.
Put this in perspective, and we need to lay back, and let it unfold.

That's fair. I'm just reporting it from my point of view so as to not let nonsensical rhetoric be both, conceived and spewed, on my watch as we are all interested in this QB battle.

There is no need to hang on every throw. After 5 days (~1/4 of the way through camp) there is a decent enough sample that we can discuss how our QBs are looking.

One of them is throwing interceptions at a rate more than twice the others combined (in the media viewing period) and its being compared to underthrowing and overthrowing WRs passes in 1 on 1s, its not comparable.

Everyday in Practise Report, I see someone claiming Tate had a good day and I never see you with this Buddhist Monk act. You smell like a Tate fan. I believe that this thread title gives you anxiety.

Your third sentence says it all......keep tabulating and stressing..it is great for spewing on your watch.
I am looking on, ................ and now it is a jokefest ..............................to see who is getting more frustrated and flustered............
Enjoy your watch, and keep stressing...........it is good for you. ......stress creates smells, anxiety does too, called stress sweat.......and.
Your smell is turgid.....................LMAO. Keep on keeping on.
I am a fan of whoever steps up to lead our team......I don't give a flying f*** who it is. I trust Enos, and that takes care of that.

No, I don't know if we trust Enos. Enos is a sly fox according to one of the other porsters. The corrections that he recommended to Tate are much harder than those which he gave the other youngsters.

This is how I'm watching the QB race.

Watching.webp

If he thinks like some of the more vociferous and loquacious "neutral" fans like brock who seems to keep moving the target for what we should be expecting out of the QB, then I don't think we can trust him. If he moves the target any more, it's going to be underneath Tate's pillow.

If Manny thinks like some of the more wayward and forthright fans like D Rev Lee and duke4heisman then he'd be worried about the kid's Instagram followers and his reputation and so forth. duke4heisman doesn't want to change his avi and we understand, it looks cool.
