Is anyone going to care that the fumble against Georgia tech was targeting but since it wasn't miami they don't care it wasn't a missed called. The broadcasting crew didn't even bring it up. I'm fine with it but if you are going to penalize miami for a miami for a supposed missed call, you better penalize georgia for a worse penalty.

I immediately thought it was targeting. I would like someone to explain to me why that's not. The guy launched himself and used the crown of his helmet and hit King right in the face mask. In fact that's the reason why he dropped the ball. the guy didn't punch the ball out, he dropped the ball when he got speared in the head.

Yep, criminal hose job by the refs tonight. Total malfeasance.

If that was Miami it would have been called.

And if it wasn't called you can bet money that Jesse Palmer wouldn't stfu about how it should have been called for the next hour until the game was over. THey would have show every angle and slow motion to get the audience to say "Oh s#it Miami stole another one"
Yeah it straight garbage how an announcer can have so much influence. He didn't say one thing tonight about how it was targeting. It was textbook penalty

If a Miami player made that play and the refs started a review I'd say crap that's targeting. I've done it many times. This play seemed pretty text book.
They are wildly inconsistent with targeting calls as we have seen all year in both directions. I thought it would have been reviewed. It was not.

Chock it up to "Winning is hard" and get ready to beat the mighty Orangepeople of Syracuse tomorrow.

100 percent facts. Its been like this all year. They have been inconsistent in every game. I've seen it so many times where I thought it was an obvious targeting not get called targeting and the ones I thought for sure weren't targeting then they called targeting

Not to thread jack, but every time I see Travis Hunter, among others, do a choreographed 45 second dance party in the end zone, I get ****ed that they flagged Jacolby for simply spinning a football on the ground. Totally out of control.

Someone should have to answer for that kind of disparity in rule enforcement.
