While he isn't great, Verse is a pretty good pass-rusher.

Fair, but this mock has him top 5, that was my contention

Lol. Williams ahead of Kam. Zion even getting drafted is funny. Maybe a team takes a long shot chance in 7th round but he may not even be a starter this season.

Some way too early projections obviously. That being said:
I'm a Zion fan, don't get me wrong, but is he even starting? He needs a great season. Also, if Kam continues on the trajectory he's on, I'd see him in the 1st.

Zion was a projected top 10 pick in both the 2022 and 2023 draft. Obviously those projections weren’t even close. I think he has (or had) potential but like you said, I don’t even think he’s a starter right now. Mock drafts at this stage are essentially pointless. Way too early.

I like this website. Became a huge fan when the Dolphins were tanking. I thought it was interesting that the site has five Canes projected as second round picks next year, and none of them are TVD. I still expect us to take some bumps and bruises this fall, but there's more top-end talent than there has been in sometime.

Because the sad reality is this, TVD had a nice 6 game stretch in 2021 but hasn’t done much since. I know he was hurt last year and Gattis yeah yeah yeah. That’s not going to matter to teams drafting you. He’s gotta prove himself again. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him back in 2024 if 2023 is an average season. There are no competent QB’s on the roster behind him.

Most of his stuff is now behind a paywall (The Athletic) but Dane Brugler is the best in the business. I dont think he did a full 2024 mock yet but did do a 1st round version. No Canes on the list. Caleb going 1st overall.

Seeing lots of Penn St guys. Manny should put up an elite defense with the talent he has there. Would expect this to be his peak before coming back to earth and starting a slow trajectory to mediocrity as his own recruits start to fill the defense.

Year 2 Manny is consistently the best Manny. Check the resume. Top 15 defenses with Miami, Texas, LaTech, and Miss St in year 2 iirc. Penn St defense will be really good again this year. Down hill from year 3 on out.
