Jesus you are dumb. This isn't about boycotting Al Golden and Coach L. It's about telling the administration you are unhappy with becoming a basketball first school. It's about showing the admin that without a dominant football program they will suffer financially.

People are willing to boycott Duke Johnson, a kid, a legend, the leading rusher in our HISTORY, to force change. But we can't boycott Coach L and some middle of the pack bball program that no one really cares about???? It's extremely hypocritical, and makes all the crowing about "forcing change" ring hollow.

I don't support Canes hoops. I hate Duke, Wake, Stanford, and all those nerd/waspy basketball schools. I would kill myself if we became like them, which it seems we are well on our way to.

Anyone who praised fans for boycotting games, and then turns around as asks people to support basketball, is an enemy of Canes football. One foot in the deep end accomplishes nothing. Boycott UM athletics until they get their **** together.
 
It seems like a losing battle. Coach Larranaga, 2013 ACC Championship, The BUC on campus, undefeated season (so far), Charleston Invitational title, etc compared to Coach Golden, zero ACC anythings, a lifeless dead cavern of a stadium one hour away, 6-6 season, probably another bowl loss.

Isn't it obvious what the school wants? Center on baseball and basketball, squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze football into a cold, dark corner. It's working.

Do you realize how dumb it is to "pull out" of paying the football program, where the money goes to the entire athletic department.....while then putting more money into the bball program which goes to the same exact place, the entire athletic department.

In fact, UM is probably thrilled to further deemphasize football in favor of being a basketball school. Congrats on playing into their hands.

The BUC seats like 8000 and doesn't generate legitimate parking revenue. While I'm on board with stopping all donations to the athletic department as a whole, boycotting basketball would be of negligible financial impact and just generally ****ish to a guy running a program that deserves support.
 
So your tired of this administration for not firing golden/caring about football and you give blake james more money and incentive to not care about football? The basketball team has done a fantastic rebuilding job but I don't get your reasoning .
