Even from the first quarter it seemed like our players were not phased at all.

From those that were at the game? Thoughts?

Cam playes like a cool cucumber man. For a lot of the game he has so much time you could have wrote a book.

But our defense wasn't phased by the sound at all either.

Swamp is overrated. The atmosphere pregame even at the tailgate was somber. Of course, it’s a team that’s won 5-6 games last couple years those fans are going through it. I almost feel bad for them, but

I was on the Miami sideline and except the Miami drive after the UF TD run it really wasn’t crazy loud. Cam was almost too comfortable at the beginning but boy did he settle in and I think his demeanor was huge for the rest of the team

Really thought it was going to be louder. I think the loudest point was the possession after that long TD run, but it died down pretty quick after that lol

Well I've always been told that the stadium in Seattle Washington was always the loudest regardless of it being a college or pro game. But, today for some reason the swamp is the loudest gameday crowd as reported by espn. What a bunch of malarkey.
I was in Washington back in 2000 and was at the swamp back in 2008. Without a doubt the UW game was the loudest I've ever heard while being a visitor.

I was not impressed with the swamp back in 2008 (only time I've been there).

They had nothing to cheer about. Cam’s pick and that long TD run were all. Both were immediately answered.

I will say I was very underwhelmed with the noise on that second drive I think it was. When we started on the 3. It was loud until we got a first down, but nothing special. I don’t think any UF fans in that stadium thought they were gonna win. They were just constantly waiting for bad things to happen.

Cam's too cool for school persona kinda bothered me in the beginning but as the game progressed I said to myself stop *****ing bro's a baller. Was having TVD flashbacks on that pick but dude is a heck of a player and hoping he can stay healthy.

It did seem strange how he would stop running but stayed in bounds on a few runs. After the pick he responded great though

I told everyone a few months ago that the Swamp is overrated and it wasn’t going to be an issue, and no one believed me. I’m a UF (and UM) alumna and the fans leave during the third quarter all the time. So pathetic that the media doesn’t call them out for it. I brought UDub alums to an SEC game once (I think it was a Tennessee game) and they laughed at the “noise” and said it was a joke. Cam’s comments were hilarious and I’m so glad he made them during the press conference.

HRS at its best actually gets louder than the Swamp, but it’s not “SEC” so it doesn’t get the marketing by the media. If we get “back” and eventually switch conferences, it would really help our perception and image.

After about 18 years of this fake media chest pumping about the $EC, I should know better, but I'm only human. Hey it's hotter in Gainesville than it is in Miami lol. That was another lame brain take I heard from the gates this week.
