Well now you’re shifting the argument to Butch’s guys as a whole vs Saban’s.

You first said the talent on the 2018 Bama offense couldn’t compare to the 2000 Canes offense - which is absolutely untrue.

And this argument is equally fallacious.

Saban has had 33 players at Alabama get picked in the 1st round. I’m not sure what the total are from LSU + Michigan State, but it think it’s fair to assume his total number is at least 40, which far surpasses Butch’s number of 25.

Butch put 25 into the NFL in alot less time....Butch's kids will have atleast 5 Busts in Canton....Saban will have none...only a f-ing moron would think 2018 Bama's offense has ANYTHING on 2000 UMs offense....Where??...At RB??...Nope....At WR??....Nope...At TE??....Nope....Please Stop....

You need your *** whipped if you think that's comparable....2 of UMs guys are going to Canton....Santana's stats are as good as 4 WRs that are already in Canton....

Both 2018 Bama and '00 Miami had studs. The thing is Saban's guys were bought and paid for with Mark Emmert and the NCAA hearing, seeing, and speaking no evil of them. The only thing Butch offered was a promise to do great things for the University of Miami which should have culminated in winning the title that season but we know how that went. It's a simple case of doing more with less (Butch) and doing more with everything and everyone behind you(Saban)

Listen to what you're saying. It took Saban 10 years, with unlimited resources, and cover from the NCAA, to approach the talent that Butch acquired in 3 years, with a penny-pinching admin while under "death-penalty like" sanctions.

And it's still debatable.

Both guys have good points,actually a good debate lol. Id go with what butch did in that short time span but what saban has done is very impressive.

Only thing i didn’t see mentioned is butch didn’t have to leave the state to get HOF level players in a era were the internet wasn’t what it is now, saban does but he has unlimited resources in a different era so i see both sides

What does that even mean? You want to evaluate Miami's talent level over a 3 year period based not on what they accomplished at Miami but rather years later based on what they got done at the next level? College coaches have 3 and 4 years to make these players their own. If they are all that the record books will reflect it, or not.
