I feel like this answer is really overrated lol it a a double edged sword. Cause you can come out at half and go 3 and out as well. I’d rather get the ball first and set the tone and have UF show their adjustments to us. If we stop them out of half we should roll
 
Kickoff for one reason:

Their crowd will be in a frenzy and stupid loud to start the game. Make them shut up by hitting them in the mouth on the first drive.

I rather have the ball be in my court coming out of halftime, all of it is a risk fasho but i just rather set the tone out the half than at the beginning
 
I always say defer. In a potentially close game the opportunity for 2 consecutive offensive drives where you control the field and the clock can give you an edge.

I have no dog in this fight because I get both sides but every justification can be immediately flipped around and debunked

Cracks me up

Sometimes the playing for two possessions in a row thing reminds me of basketball. Like playing for the final shot of the quarter instead of running your offense, some ****head PG holds the ball forever and then chucks up some ridiculous circus shot but I digress

Yeah it really doesn’t matter seriously. I DO think it’s matchup based tho. I’d rather have this Florida team chase us from the jump so we can unleash a pass rush.

I agree with you. I think this offense can set the tone so I lean that way. I mean if you could guarantee our defense gave us a 3 and out and our offense would score…sure haha

We absolutely unloaded NIL on our offense so just let them cook imo
 
Take the ball. As a matter of fact, go Hester like and return the kickoff. That will shut em' up and I would assume, set the tone!

Definitely leaning to get ball. We are better than them at every position with the ball. Top qb, top rb, wr(3, and not one team matches there past production, te, and a smash mouth offensive line.

If we do not return the opening kick, then smash it down their throats!
