I wasn't impressed with anyone but the Texas RB. OSU didn't deserve a #1 ranking. Texas beat a good, but not great OSU team. Now, Texas will go lose a game or two against teams they shouldn't lose to if they were a real top 4 team.

This might be OSU’s worst team since Clemson destroyed them in the Semis. Whatever year that was. That preseason #1 ranking was purely based on the brand not substance.

The other ****** is Ryan Day. Not letting Texas score on 1st and goal from the 1 foot line with over a minute left and 1 TO remaining. You just need a FG. You haven't stopped Texas rushing the entire 4th qtr. You are not going to stop them with 4 consecutives tries from the 1 yard line.

Hindsight cause the kicker missed a 45yd. But with 4:20 left inside the 30 they had 3rd and 4. Instead of running twice getting the 1st down taking 2 minutes off the clock and moving the kick 10yds closer to make it a 2 score game. They throw it in the end zone trying to get Smith a Heisman moment.

Great point. That was one of those down and distance situations where it made sense to run for it on 3rd down. Set yourself up for a short 4th down. OSU probably doesn't pick it up on 3rd and 4. Maybe they do, but it's probably 4th and 2 or 4th and 1.

Now, they can either go for it or still kick the FG. It didn't feel like Texas had been stopping them in short yardage situations. OSU certainly wasn't running all over Texas, but I cant recall OSU having any negative rushing plays. It's not like Texas was in their backfield all night.

See, I had a hard time trying to figure out if it was the players, or the play calling. I settled on play calling....cause....what the actual **** were those plays? Took entirely too long to develop....into nothing, over and over again. Surprised there weren't more coverage sacks on Manning tbh.
