If we had faster linebackers, we wouldn't need strikers.
If we had more strikers, we could get bigger linebackers.
If we had...
If we had a kicker, if we had an O line, if we had a coach, if we had an offensive coordinator last season might have been a lot better

I don't see him as a pure safety. Would not be surprised if he lines up a bunch at nickel.

Same. I'm not sure if he has more upside at corner or safety. Nickel corner might be good spot. His ball skills and athleticism make him elite. Higher floor at safety but he may have a higher ceiling at corner. He may be a guy the DC moves around and he plays a different position depending on the defensive gameplan.

Aranda did something similar with Delpit at LSU especially later in the season when Delpit got healthy. The TA&M, Georgia and Oklahoma games are good examples.

The Striker position is nothing more than a gimmick. A gimmick that goes away when and if Manny goes away. Nickle and dime packages work just fine.

Go Canes!!!!!!
I disagree. It's nice to get athletes like Romeo Finley on the field, guys that can cover TE's/RB's/Slot WR's and play in the box. Next year we can get a guy like Keontra Smith on the field with Hall and Bolden as well. For me this helps get athletes on the field and defends more spread offenses.

Can he punt play LT? His athleticism and quick feet (probably very flexible) would make him a killer out there.

Did I do that right?

Everyone is focused on our linebackers this year (which we should) but if we can get a guy like Keontra to step up big like Finley did then woo buddy lets ride
