Syracuse transfer WR Trebor Pena to visit Miami this week

I’m not sure if I want him more because let’s get players or to just trigger Fran Brown

I don’t care who transfers out bring in the competition you’re not better I got no worries. They’ll find somebody else in this transportal era. Everyone needs to think about rosters differently.

Ray Ray doesn't have to transfer. It's a long season. WR numbers are low. Chance, Trader, Carr (gone) were all banged up last year and missed games. Plenty of snaps available over 12-15 games.

Because it's one season. That literally not overthinking. It's a fact. Plus, the crop of WR in the Spring Portal is mid AF so he is elevated to higher than he deserves. He wouldn't be this high in the winter portal and that's a fact.

With the way guys are hitting the portal, sometimes without even playing a single game, you take the help for the one season.

Luke has the tweet ready the second Pena is signed. These guys don’t think rationally.

We need to start blowing teams the **** out. That’s been one of the many problems the last 20 years is that even the bottom tier in talent ACC teams you are still playing the starters early 4th quarter.

The young guys don’t get a meaningful opportunity to play and you don’t get an opportunity to evaluate.

We would feel different if Ray Ray got a lot of snaps in the second half of games last year.

This is silliness. We have Beck for 1 year. We have no idea what the QB situation will look like next year. You surround him with all the proven talent you can. Want a comparison? He had better numbers than KJ Osborn had at Buffalo his last year before transferring.. a MAC team. Stop overthinking this.

Lofton and JoJo could have played more too. But the #1 offense had to fight to the last snap in too many games. New year new opportunity for Ray Ray. By all accounts he got better. Long season. He will play

RayRay got burn early on and was inconsistent. Jojo was hurt. I think they wanted to work those guys in more.
 
The Portal closes in 2 days and there are people who still say “no” to Pena. I don’t get it. He immediately replaces 95% of the production we are losing from Restrepo, elevates the WR corps, and makes the team better.

There isn’t a better option available. Hopefully, the mysterious SEC speedster enters the Portal in the next 48 hours AND we end up being the destination; however, if he doesn’t enter the Portal then what?
