Syracuse Post Game Plus/Minus:

These high tempo offenses are hard as **** to defense for 4 quarters. If you hold a team under 400 yards and 20 points you are actually doing well in todays game.

We got a gashed at times but did some things well on the defensive side of the ball. Offensively I think we shot ourselves in the foot not going vertically down the field more. They were vulnerable in the secondary and we stopped attacking them in the middle of the field when we were having success.

I'm happy we won but play calling leaves a lot to be desired, like Imagination.... Also, linebacker players, where the devil are they on the long run?

We had a couple of really aggravating playcalls but I disagree about our offensive coaches.

If our guys execute the second half doesn't even need played.

The reason we look disjointed is we arent there yet in terms of overall miami type talent, even MR knows that but hes winning which is a good thing. Imagine when he gets this roster proper with real UM depth at every spot
Agreed.

hard not to look disjointed when you are constantly shooting yourself in the foot.

We were in position plenty...and I've been ultra critical of Richt this year and last

Could you elaborate on that? Where exactly is the talent problem on offense that is causing the disjointed play? OL? RB depth? While I agree with you in a general sense, I think playcalling had a much bigger impact on the disjointed play in today's game.

Need to throw a + to or QB. Very little help from the run game and lots of drops by our WRs.

When the kid throws a good pass it is sometimes perfect, like the one he dropped into Richards belly when Richards had about an inch of separation. I don't care how wild and crazy Dungy looked trying to run the hurdles - give me the guy with no picks please. Not four.

It's a good question and it's tough to put an exact finger on it IMO.

Seems like our weaknesses show up sporadically. Rosier, WRs, OL, Richt.....they all seem to pick their moments

He had a little problem late in the game but that was by far Rosiers best game IMO. His first half he was on the money with everything.

Drop city. Without all those drops we would have put them away in the first half.

Didn't understand the hurry up on our final possession.

Dungey is a crease. Would love to see him hanging from a ceiling fan so I could slap him in the face with my dyck as he spins around.

Coach is a giant puss for not going for it on 4th and goal in the first qtr. You're at home and it's early. Just sack up and play D if you dont make it.

90% of the fans discount every win. Obviously if Miami beats a team and doesn't blow them out, the opponent was garbage and we played down to them. Toledo is really good - nope, a garbage small conference team. FSU - their sh#tty record is evidence that they suck. Duke? Joke basketball school. GT? We got lucky. Syracuse? So what they beat THE CURRENT NCAA FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS and we have held every single team well below there scoring average. The W 's don't matter since we aren't doing it with enough flair. To quote the former governor of Minnesota, "bunch of slackjaw f######s in here."

Really wish we had a running play other than the read option. I'm no schematic wizard and never played but seems like it's been rather predictable? Or Rosier is reading it wrong? Or I don't know what the **** I'm talking about?

We won't beat tech or those catholic es playing like this. That said, 6-0. CATCH THE ******* BALL!!!

Its a blend of the Rpo, zone read, and just handoffs from shotgun.

Rosier is just limited so he doesnt run the offense as smooth as it could run. He is very premeditated in his play.

People blame the playcalling but Rosier is a limited qb. Hes learning on the job.
