Syracuse game re-watch

End of the first quarter.

Up 3-0
Should be 21-0
Homer is having a nice day so far catching balls out of the backfield, but Rosier is the main running threat.
Homer has had 3 runs inside the 5 yard line and only managed to gain 2 yards.
Herndon and Homer seem to be the only people who can reliably catch the ball today, and even Homer had one go right through his hands.
Berrios has yet to be targeted.

I'll pick it up there tomorrow.

LG and C clearly should've been flagged for the false start on that play. No idea why the flag was picked up. I felt like this kind of stuff happened all year.

Said it the other day the straight out drops from the team despite rosiers inaccuracies were a big problem last year. Need to fix it

Not to hijack this thread, but this is exactly why the criticism of Rosier needs to be tempered.

The officiating was an abomination last season as it is most seasons in our games. My blood still boils at the magnitude (both in numbers and situation) of the "missed" holding calls against us last season. I'm sure we got away with lots of stuff as well but man was that frustrating.

To show people that Rosier's inaccuracy wasn't his fault.
At least it wasn’t all the time but this was just in the first half of the season. We got to eliminate these drops, it wasn’t all on rosier. Can also point to a few ints(Jeff Thomas twice) in the va tech game he didn’t track the ball well of enough or at least try and knock the ball out when it was clear he wasn’t catching it.

Easily shoulda won that game by 30

Richards had like 4 drops for over 100+ yards

I agree. I'd say maybe only 1INT was actually his fault, the rest were all on the WR's & the OL.

If the rest of this team can raise their level of play to match Rosier's we will win a National title this year, would've won it last year too.
Sarcasm? Lol

The only things I specifically remember from this game were Richard's dropping everything and the Syracuse quarterback simultaneously being the worst passing and best running quarterback in football history.
