Heard this the other day, Pete/Columbus folk can you guys confirm this?

Also heard some if not all of the former Cane NFL guys will train there.

While I see your point, Columbus is not like most high schools. There weight room is better then a lot of D1 schools, 9 million dollar facility.
 
Someone is going to take that school for millions for negligence when their kid is seriously injured under the supervision of an unlicensed, uneducated instructor. Hopefully they know to "think mink" so he can continue to up his watch game.
 
I think the real question here is if he will be allowed in the weight room with the kids.

I'm a licensed to do my work in three states plus I am in the process of getting board certified. ...so I have accomplished more that he has

Ilikedade is probably a fuggin lose so passing a section of the ged exam is a major accomplishment in his life

Swasey robbed this school, and used his friendship with former players to hold us hostage, to the detriment of our players and the kids on that team. Every single time a coach got fired, this guy went out of his way to get people to infer that Miami would never have former players come back again if he was fired. It was shameful, and he did it bc he knew his resume and abilities were trash.

Fvck Swasey. He was either too incompetent or too disinterested to pass a basic certification. His presence here made me cry for a decade, so I think I'm allowed to laugh for a little bit at his fraudulent career coming to a close.

And then proceed to defend Swasey for a few paragraphs.
 
I don't care if Columbus has a $90M facility. A D1 S&C Coach going to a HS job immediately after getting released is a pretty damning of his ability and what his peers and potential employers think of him.
 
He is training mlb players in the day and nfl players in the early afternoon. He is renting the weight room from the school and being a private trainer to these pros. He seems to have set it up pretty nicely.

Yes, this is true as well. I said right after Golden that Swasey was gone, not a matter of if, but when. I also said there were two new places the pro's were working out off-season and it wasn't like the old days where we had a bunch of NFL guys here throughout their off-season. He was known as one of the worst in the business for any D1 school.

Having said all of that, he's not a bad man from what I've heard and quite the opposite. I wish him well and IMHO, we're beating a dead horse here.
