Surprising Shocking UM Passing Statistics and more

Cam should break it. Has 11td passes in 3 games. With his current pace he could push for 40 but over 29 is a given atp
He will definitely be in the running to break both the single season TD record and the single season yardage record. I'm pulling for him to break both!

Imagine what's gonna happen when Mario the Meddler stops playing Broball and let's Dawson have control of the offense again!
I've mentioned this before but massive props to Mario for learning, growing and developing. This is a different Mario than we saw at Oregon. He has the opportunity to develop into an excellent coach and I'll be rooting for him to do exactly that!

Xavier Restrepo needs 38 catches to break the career receptions record of 182 held by Mike Harley.

Restrepo needs 567 yards to break the career receiving yards record of 2,546 held by Santana Moss.
Probably has both records before the end of October assuming he stays healthy.

I would guess Cam has the passing yards and TD records for a single season shortly after that.

Anybody who didn't think Mario would do anything he could to win here is simply a hater.

Just hiring Shannon Dawson in the first place told me everything I needed to know.

We have won our first 3 games by a combined score of 159 to 26. So, it's safe to say we've played a little bit of the year with a decent lead. And we've STILL only run the ball 102 times to 109 passes. Even while averaging winning games by 40 points.

For the 1700th time, this is Shannon Dawson's offense. Mario Cristobal doesn't have an offense. Mario goes to Trader Joe's. Dawson cooks.

Meddling doesn't start until the bye week. You know this.

Hopefully Cam and X make enough progress towards those records before 10/12 because I've heard what Mario has in store for the last 6 games of the year.... we're preserving Martinez's legs for a reason

By far our most underrated wrs were either Brown or Copeland. Long as we're just saying college.
Eddie Brown and Hi C for sure we're underrated now that i think about it. They certainly don't get the recognition they deserve. The thing is that I'm getting up there(57) lol and I can't look back on those guys as clearly as I would want to. Oh I still remember them but not with the detail and clarity of before. The Coley era is much more vivid to me!

Well said. Anybody that's been around this program from the 80s or before knew that Mario would go to his grave trying to bring this program back to elite status and that much has been obvious to anyone paying attention.

Like I said he has had to do some growing professionally and the good news is that he has done that and now that he has, he has put himself in position to be to Miami what other iconic coaches have been to their respective programs. The job Mario has done to turn this program around has been truly inspirational. Trader Joe's? Mario always struck me as a Whole Foods kind of guy. Anyway that reminded me of what @Dwinstitles always says. "Talent makes coaches look like geniuses" Jimmies and Joe's make the X's and O's.".

Dawson wasnt a duo run guy so Mario does have some influence.. Nothing wrong with that as long as they marry the concepts well and lean on what works most..

i never really bought into the whole "mario is a caveman QB killer" thing- like you said, you don't hire shannon dawson only to tell him he can't throw the ball (well uh, i guess you literally do exactly that if you're mark stoops, but i was confident mario cleared that bar lmao). but i will say when the run game wasn't really working the first half against ball state and we just said eff it and started slinging it every single play....that felt new to me lol. in a good way, of course.
