Joel is a UM football alum who has been handling a lot of the community outreach and those types of projects with the players. Im sure he does a lot more. Not 100% sure how has role will change with Diaz. He is also THE KEEPER OF THE CHAIN on gameday.

Sold him unbelievably short and the fact that the first guy diidn't know who he was is telling. He chose Miami over Harvard. Was a two time first team All American tackle. Got his MBA while still at Miami. Played in the pros for a few years and made money in the private sector Not to diminish his intentions but was able to pick this up as a hobby. Would be a great OLine coach at some point.

Joel was a very good FCS Oline coach both at Fordham and Bryant college. He coached all league players at both schools.

29!!

That's a good staff of support/ analyst staff on board... Yet would still support a couple more,.. Cato like LCL said, LCL himself and Lance for analytics!

I like it, but I'd love to see more of the out of work head coaches and position coach types of hires like Bama does. Guys who can break down film on your opponents weeks in advance.

It'd be nice if they could actually bring in a couple people, who have advanced degrees in mathematics and analytics.

This you’re confusing him with Joaquin Gonzalez.

But either way, joel is an asset to the program

Vacates? Vilma is probably making 5x as much at ESPN for 1/10th the work. Not to mention his business ventures. Not gonna happen.

Those network analyst gigs don't last forever. Plus he's always on campus anyways. Not putting it past Manny.

1) He's a rising star.
2) There are many, many talking heads that have been on the network for years.
3) He's still an entrepreneur.
4) He's always on campus because he's a Trustee.

I'm not putting it past Manny. I'm putting it past Vilma. Dude has more important things to do.
