Super Regional Game 3: Louisville

This is what infuriates me about our alumni/athletic department. They’re the biggest suckers of all time. JD deserves another year but don’t tell us you’re a bad fan if you don’t think he does (both arguments are valid). Just keep your **** mouth shut and let it play out

This is why I never did and never will "tweet". I was always taught to let some time pass before commenting when you're still caught up in the emotions of the moment.

Wicho's was diplomatic, at least. Cooper's would have been fine without the last sentence.

Fun run for the last 9 days. Almost felt like what it felt like for 30 years.

Now that we’ve established that, any serious program with 25 trips to Omaha fires JD first thing tomorrow morning. You know it, I know it, **** JD knows it.

People like him. He’s a good guy. Here…come closer….i need to make sure you hear this clearly.

I don’t give a ****.

Hire a coach who deserves the helm at one of the 5 biggest blue bloods in the sport. Please read that again. Miami is one of the 5 preeminent programs in the history of the sport. Full ******* stop. Hire someone who deserves that job. Not this guy. Enough is enough.

1. JD needs to go.
2. JD isn’t going anywhere.

Two things can be true at once. The reality is what it is. I have nothing against the guy personally. I would love to see things get back on track for next year, I just don’t think they will.

I never said I had anything against him personally. The board needs to understand how the world works. I don’t wish ill on the dude and his family. He’s a Cane. He took a job that any one of us would have taken with ZERO hesitation. He’s trying hard.

But that’s not good enough, and more importantly, he didn’t deserve the job. I don’t have anything against JD. Not many of us who have laughed/cried at the fact he was hired do. The people who are OK with him being offered this job are the ones who need to be waterboarded.

It’s not JD’s fault. He was given a job he didn’t deserve. It’s Miami’s fault.

We have done this for so many coaches in football you’d think people would get it by now. Nobody faults them for taking a dream job. But failing is inevitable when you aren’t ready and/or aren’t good enough for the job.

And we better not even think of being done talking about this info about JD having issues with the collective topic.

I probably shouldn’t say what I think about Cooper’s last sentence.

Give him another year, but that’s it!

And if I were JD, I'd suggest (unless he's done it already) that he sit down w Larranaga and pick his brain on how to get the program to the next level.

Despite the way it ended for L, he seemed to know how to reach out to boosters, fans, students, former players, etc. to ensure everyone felt a part of the program's renewed success. Being a "players coach" simply isn't enough anymore.
