Love seeing my leadoff and 2nd best hitter with 0 confidence in the last series of the year with the season on the line. Bunting with 2 outs down 7

Laughable that **** like that is tolerated. If I even squared to bunt like that in college in that situation, our coach would be chewing my *** and probably yanking me out for someone that wants to hit.
 
I don’t understand the willingness to burn Cleveland in this game either when he could be used the rest of the series that might matter. He looks like our 3rd best reliever to me.

We’ve only been using him like this all year and I haven’t really figured out why.

I never hit 4th in my life and my senior year of HS I got moved there trying to shuffle things around. I always led off. Laid a 2 out bunt down the 3rd baseline down 4-1 on a kid that ended up pitching at Tennessee. Got taken off 1st base and removed from the game my coach was so ****ed. I did it because I couldn’t figure the pitcher out and he had my number and I was puzzled at the plate. No confidence.

Been there. It’s obvious he’s there now.

Afraid Cuvet is in that bucket as well. This next AB is going to be telling.

Not a good sign Cuvet swinging at pitches way out of the zone.

When you are short on pitching, these types of tournaments are tough but you have to take the 1 game approach at this stage.

Game 2 and Game 3 don’t matter per se. Everyone should be on a short leash. They have had plenty of rest since Southern Miss.

Get Ciscar out with 25-30 pitches - as you astutely know, it’s a bullpen session and you can bring him back to pitch in relief on game 3.

Exactly what I said…kid didn’t look like he had much from the start…gotta believe he’s good for Sunday if they get there ( which they have no shot if they don’t start swinging the bats) and maybe even in relief tomorrow
