The only place that I know of that has a good selection of fresh oysters is Captain's Tavern Market. They get shipments from numerous Virginia and New England states.
Those were some of the largest I've ever eaten.

Man, unfortunately I'm on the road right now, somewhere in backwoods Alabama omw to Destin. If I was home, I'd probably whip up some of these fatties.

I took it easy this year and just did ribs and pulled pork. Those look amazing though.

Edit: not my best work @Baba Yaga. It’s my wife’s birthday and she selfishly distracted me. I cooked them a little long. My pulled pork turned out pretty good though.
