I honestly don't see what the staff sees in a kid like Joe Brown. No offense to him or his family.

Taking a talented guy like Grossier makes sense. Fast athletic and can play. Has a very high ceiling especially with him being new to football. Also shows up on film.

We treat scholarships like gold before signing day and then we hand them out for free after signing day. We also ignore very talented guys like Skai...

Enough about ******* Joe Brown. Didn't you all have enough breaking his balls months ago? Get over it and let's see what he can do.

You're not supposed to see what the staff sees. You're a doctor, or a garbage man, or an accountant who sees some clips on the internet from your office or cubicle or couch and if you're like most fans, you think you can evaluate players from your living room. If it we're that easy, you wouldn't be a doctor, or a garbage man, or a accountant.

Looks like a pretty good 2 gap NT with a very high motor. This kid has some skills to work with, now its up to the staff to develop him.

Odd choice of comparisons. I am not sure that many football coaches have enough gray matter to get through medical school or become accountants. They are not typically the brightest of bulbs. I do agree, though, that evaluating football talent is difficult. Look at how poorly a lot of teams do in the NFL draft, after they have had several more years to watch the players and put them through a huge array of tests. The problems in projecting the futures of high school kids are compounded by the fact that many of them are still going through a lot of unpredictable physical changes.
