Normally, UM would have to pay a significant contractual payout to Richt/Head Coach who had a nice contract extension in place.
Blake would be fired as he is the one who's stupid, expensive extension would cost the University millions of dollars to get out from under Richt.
That didn't happen.
Blake's job was saved by Richt not taking what was legally his. And now this dumbass Blake is off the hook for costing the U millions of payout dollars.
Blake in turn, in an instant makes a hire. Didn't coach search - didn't look at anyone else - didn't interview anyone else - he just made one damned phone call - and instantly - he was finished with his coaching search? How does that happen?
Why was Blake in such a fizz?
