Studying Georgia tech

Geoff Collins is a defensive mind. Well maybe not this year but expect techs best on defense this Saturday.

I know its popular to say we will have another ****** game but call me gullible i expect us to run train on them and win by 20+. May stumble out of the gate but this one won't be close. TO chain will come out 3+ times and we roll like UNC at home last year

most athletic running qb we will face and they throw it deep more than anyone in the ACC.

Weak opponent but those two aspects are true. This quarterback is considerably faster and more of an open field threat than Perkins of Virginia. They are trying to design more opportunities for him of that type. Miami will wipe out lots of plays. When something pops like a delayed quarterback draw it needs to be held to 10 or 20 yards and not the distance.

Georgia Tech is not likely to drive the field. They'll try the deep balls as the OP mentioned. And not exclusively to wide receivers. They have some of the longest wheel route designs you'll ever see.

Miami needs to pound this team physically on the ground and establish the physical pecking order early. Big plays will be available also.

They’re a really bad team but their offense matches up well against us. Why? They exploit what have been out 2 biggest weaknesses this year: most athletic running qb we will face and they throw it deep more than anyone in the ACC. If we don’t show up ready to play we could get embarrassed. Their defense has good DBs but they leave them on islands so with Kosi we should be able to take them deep. Their linebackers miss a lot of tackles so we should be able to run the ball even if we don’t block very well. Deejay Dallas should have a good game. The screen game also exposes them a lot this year.
This will be a dog fight. It's just our MO.

We will find a way to win ugly. Best case scenario. Guarantee we get out corched. Lots of penalties including a targeting call. We will give up 4 sacks too. #15 will save us with a late sack.

We need to set the edge and shadow the QB, he’s most of their offense. Offensively we need to attack the edges and corners.
Their DBs are suspect at tackling and coverage but they leave a roaming safety back deep to pick lazy passes.

I expect a lot of TFLs, good kick returns and a few chains.

For how slow we are on D we stop the run (and QB run) very well. Safeties are gonna have to be lively in this one to cover deep.

As for their D the CBs are pretty good. Would not shock me if we throw a few picks and run the ball fairly well at times vs them

If UVA was a true turning point and if the O line is getting better then we should romp on Saturday.

A bad game against GT tells us the potential just ain't there with the current staff. Time to shop for coordinators at the minimum.
