What's the point of training camp and practicing when everyone is entitled to their fair share of snaps? This is complete idiocy.

Doesn't show me a coach who either 1) wants to win, or 2) knows how to win. Regardless of it being the season opener or not, LSU isn't the game to give everyone their "fair shot." You put the best 11 on the field and play to win.

Im starting to think our guys are actually talented enough to stay in base D the whole game and have better results than these ******, poorly schemed blitzes.

They never work. You know what else never works? Allowing WRs a free release inside whenever we blitz.

When the opposing QB sees (from a mile away) that we're going to blitz, it's an easy pitch and catch to a WR running a slant every **** time.

I really don't get the hate for Diaz. Stephan mentioned it earlier but it's worth repeating - when our offense goes 3-and-out multiple possessions in a row (such as in the second quarter), it puts our defense in a tough spot and they start to get gassed. It's also why we are forced to sub a lot on defensive possessions.

The offense has to give our D a break. When they don't, games like UNC, Pitt , Clemson, Wisconsin and LSU happen. Then all of the sudden everyone hates our D without thinking about the "why" of the situation.

Those are excuses.
Good defenses step up to the plate.
That's what all of our good defenses did.

When you're well-prepared and your defense has the other team's number, they can set the tone for the entire game. There's nothing the offense can do except hope that one of their guys make a big play.

Since when did defensive battles disappear? We've been in dozens of them, where neither offense could get anything going because both defenses are stout. Nobody gave our defense excuses when we had 10-7 battles with FSU years ago.

Good defenses can fold after being on the field for too long, but it's often late in the game. They don't give up 20+ points in the first half just because the offense isn't converting. That's often something that happens later when the defense becomes gassed. Our **** defense allows opposing offenses to march down our throat early in games.

I dont see the issue in what he said (Robert Knowles excluded. He should never see the god**** field again!!!).

Its all situational though. I have no problem with backup LBs or CBs being in the game IF THEY EARNED IT. I do have a problem if they are in the game and its 3rd and 1 with 2mins on on the clock at our 5yd line.

Manny also has to be smarter with his sub packages. You cant sub in 6 guys at a **** time Manny.....

Yeah 6 players at the same time is suicidal. You supposed to mix them with Vets. I'm sure all 6 didn't need a **** rest.

Man I was screaming my lungs out saying why TF Shaq and Pink out the **** game?!! He plays too many players!! Those two, Jo Jack, Mike jack, and the safeties should NEVER leave the field unless they ask for a sub!!
