one of you media pundits need to ask him where exactly bethel did a good job

there's CLEAR film of him on his *** like every other play

did he even watch the film yet? Enough is enough, he's gotta go.. i'd be down to fire him now IF there was a single coach on this team qualified to take over this defense. But that might be part of his schit show as well, "they can't fire me because I hired a bunch of green nobodies that can't run a defense either"

This. You want to play 30 guys on D against the SStates and FIUs of the world? So be it..when we play VTech and FSU we need to get rid of the clown car and chop the rotation down to the best 20 guys and go from there.

He thought he did a good job because hes doing the best he can with his abilities. Bethel is playing out of positon and should be Willis's backup and nothing more. Ford and Tito are Fing the rotation up. Esp Ford. Bethel cannot play that "Norton" position. He will get manhandled against the VT and BC OLs like he did against LSU.

If he had stated it like that, then fine. "He's playing out of position and he's doing what he can."

I'd be fine with that, not, "he played good!"

The dude is so overrated its not even funny. LB play has been below average for 3 years in a row and he blitzes us out of the play on every other 3rd down. Not to mention most of his blitz packages suck and are poorly timed.
 
I think both coordinators exhibited a reasonable amount of awareness last season, let's see how they respond.

We do, and I hate talking bad about specific players, but when Knowles is on the field as much as he is (among others), I just wonder if the staff is really here to WIN...

this fan base always ALWAYS happy adjusts whoever comes here, whether that is a coach or player. Whoever we get is awesome, no matter what the reality is.

he fielded average defenses as Miss St., and abysmal ones at Texas; but at Miami suddenly hes going to be Bud Foster.

Agreed. There's no way Manny can be watching the film of the 50 yard run and not say "****, half the 2nd unit was on the field at the same time". I just don't think he wants to stand in front of the press and admit it though. We'll see if the rotation gets tightened up once we get into the meat of the schedule.

In addition, go back and watch LSU's blitzes vs. our blitzes. Aranda's are much more calculated and timed up. He'll blitz one, maybe two guys on an important down and puts them in the right spot based on our formation/personnel.

On the other hand, Diaz, without any rationale, blitzes the whole house while we play a ****** *** soft zone behind it...and half of the guys blitzing have it so poorly timed up/out of position that its literally a waste of a player on the field. He puts us at a disadvantage too many times .
 
At WR right now we rotate way too many of them, AR, JT, Hightower should be on the field majority of the time, IDC if Hightower is a true freshman that kid can ball, mix in Harley & Cater, the rest of the guys are not ready or up to level to playing right now.

For ***** sake just stop with Knowles, its embarrassing for everybody, Shaq & Pick need to be out there majority of the time too.
 
What's the point of training camp and practicing when everyone is entitled to their fair share of snaps? This is complete idiocy.
