Somebody just showed me this.

He never took any official visits because of his team's state championship run - he was originally slated to visit UM this past weekend.

Now in the dead period, Gibson said Monday night that he's still not 100 percent set on his UM decision. Certainly it helped that Ephraim Banda took an in-home with him last night, though.

"He was here 45 minutes, it went well," Gibson said. "We have a good connection."

The reason Gibson, as his mother puts it, is "confused"? USF is making a big push and has told him he is basically guaranteed early playing time.

"I'm locked in with the U, but different options could come along," Gibson said.

Asked the percent chance he winds up a Cane, he said, "a good 80 to 85 percent."

Sigh.

Give his team mate that is desperate for that offer the opportunity, mr 80 percent.

That's about the dumbest **** I've heard this week, and this week has been full of dumb ****. I don't usually go for telling a kid we want to kick sand because he's talking to other teams, but if he's really considering usf over us he can **** right off.

Not buying it based on the source but IF it happened to be true I'd drop the kid and issue a statement that we accidentally recruited a ******.

Lulz at anyone thinking Richt would drop a kid like that for that reason.

He's not wired that way.

I want Gibson in this class. As it relates to early playing time, we have it as well. Jaquan Johnson is the only solid starter we have coming back and he'll be playing the nickel from time to time next season. I share the same sentiments as Geo regarding Finley as I think he'll move over to LB given his size already, and this is where he hasn't even had a full offseason in a S&C program yet. The only safeties we have committed right now are Gibson and Carter and are in the running for Edwards and/or Collier depending on how that situation plays itself out.

As it relates to Strong, that man needs to stay in his lane at this juncture. He just failed at Texas of all places that has more resources than any other program in the nation (money wise) sans Alabama, especially in his own conference. Recruits should see this and take this into consideration until he can build his cache back up again.

This is the dumbest shît. If we have to start sweating USF picking guys off from us then no one on here should be gut punched over Jeudy.
