Striker Drills in Practice - Video

I couldn't pay attention to the strikers. It's far more entertaining watching Tito go up and catch a tip. M'fer has some serious vertical ability.

CMR was saying at canes media day, Jaquan Johnson will be in the box alot, which sounds great seeing Johnson's our best tackler, said Johnson would be coming down making hits, either were blitzing more which leaves a single high safety (Redwine) or Johnson's playing some Striker, smart idea as we get our best tackler in the box or covering intermediate, flats or Blitzing which coach alluded to and it allows Carter or Hall to play
 
They will have JJ in the box on one side and the Striker on the opposite with Redwine playing high. It will give you an 8-man Box, but have more athleticism for RPO’s and screens. It will be similar to VT and TCU defenses. They can use it as a ‘Big Nickel’ defense vs 11 personnel that like to run.

Then on obvious 3rd and Longs you could put Bandy in the slot and bring another CB in.

Th D will be more flexible and help us get off the field faster.
